I began painting later in my career and decided to invest in some quality training so that I could hone my skills and aproached Karen Welsh, a well known and successful local artist also based in Salisbury, whose work I love. 

Karen helped me to unleash my inner creative artist through many one to one and group sessions. 

I find inspiration from my own photography and I use places I've visited and photographed as the basis to paint semi-abstract or impressionist style acrylic paintings. 

I'm also inspired and influenced by other artists: Karen (of course) and also artists such as Timmy Mallet, Claude Monet, and Robert DeNiro Senior.
